Samarco ends a successful year

Samarco Ltd completes successfully the difficult year in selecting skilled personnel for big construction sites in Spain. The Spanish company completes the year with 37 sites for which it is responsible in selecting and hiring skilled workers and specialists in erection and electrical maintenance of contact networks and substations for different key projects of AVE and RENFE; erectors for special surfaces covering the extension of airport in Barajas, the Museum of Queen Sofia, the Sport Palace on Goya Street and the Royal Palace Aranjuez, all located in Madrid; specialists for the shuttering and the tunnel of IFEMA and for the coverage of the circumvention highway ?-30 in Madrid; and skilled operators for cranes on uninterrupted screen and construction site machines.

Santa Marina Contratas Ltd. (Samarco) shall start next year with a portfolio of four contracts, thus continuing its strategy for permanent expansion on the Spanish labor market for selection of skilled personnel in the fields of civil engineering and engineering in general. In addition to the traditional for the company sectors as the erection and maintenance of electricity networks, new fields of action have been added - skilled activities in civil engineering sites. Such activities are the columns building, drillings, operations with uninterrupted screen and special welding and transportation of dangerous loads. For the next year - 2006 the company plans to expand to new markets, where the approach of SAMARCO and the market demand offer suitable opportunities.
